On Friday, a fire arose, engulfing the Sequoia Cider Mill Restaurant-now considered a local landmark- of Three Rivers, California. Attempting to rescue her son, the owner of the restaurant broke through a window, cutting her arms. In the back storage room which also served as a bedroom, her child was found lying on the ground. After investigation, the death of the thirteen year old boy was caused by smoke inhalation. Later this week, following further investigation, the cause of the fire will be released.
