Didn’t Need: Glove liner. So much extra tuna fish packets, lol.
Should have brought: Ice axe which I left in the car thinking I would not need it. Day pack.
I was so happy that I brought the jackets that I did. It was well worth it. I made the trip with an older guy around late 40s early 50s who I met a week ago at an adventure store! We decided to make the trip with a night in between for altitude adjustment. A mistake we made was not brining a day pack. As a result we had to bring our big backpacking backpacks to carry jackets, water, food etc. . . . It was a lot of extra weight that didn’t need to be.
